Yep that's correct! Barns become more and more expensive when you buy barns, the bigger the barn the more the price goes up.

dont forget that number goes up as you get bigger ; for me a 210 barn " only" costs 149b's as I have 4090 non primary barn stalls
You pay an extra 113% on stalls. It includes pastures and empty stalls IF one particular barn is not full .

And once your total number of stalls tops 10,000, you can't purchase barns with IVs at all. I've hit that threshold, but still have plenty of empty places to put new horses, thank goodness.

That's what I did with my big account on Forest. I have just over 5000 barn stalls and depend on monthly roll over to make room for new foals. I just started combing barns till I ended up with 3 1000s, a bunch of 210s and several 120s. Soon I will turn some 210s into another 1000, but I have to save up the IVs for the price difference after sell back.

Most of the horses are probably gelded/spayed show horses. Those are the money makers.

Pastures can only be purchases with real money. I believe you can sell a pasture for hbs, but cannot turn around and use those hbs to buy new pastures.
