I have some family who lives there and their friend is getting married to guy who raised a foal who was in this Kentucky derby but got scratched. I forgot the horses name though and they said the next time I come down there in the spring I can see their foals and horses. Hey @cissycat ! I'm originally from the Charlotte, NC area too (grew up in Waxhaw :) )! Where in SC are you? I lived several years near Greenville, SC (my favorite city ever!) and have family in the Charleston area.
Right now, I'm living in eastern NC until the Air Force says we have to move. :) -
@Crowned1I love Waxhaw so much! I used to lived in Eastover area which was farther up to uptown Charlotte then Waxhaw. I actually just moved from Charlotte about 3-5 months ago and right now we are staying at our beach house so that's where where living right now. @westworld I lived in San Diego for 8 years. I've been to that racetrack and the fair many times. I lived in Ocean Beach and La Mesa while I was there, worked in Sorrento Valley. I also lived in Humboldt County for 2 years. Born and raised in New Hampshire, and thats where I currently am again.#243786
