Deceased Stallion has 17 foals?

How can this guy be deceased when he's had 17 foals this season? What am I not seeing?

You bred him on November 6th, and he went through the auction on November 8th.
All horses have a 'birthday' listed on their page, and all his yearling foals list the 6th as their birthday.

Having foals won't keep a horse from dieing? It just keeps them from being delted.Need to contact me? Read this first.

Generally, once a stallion or mare that has been bred is sent to the auction, and if no one else buys said horse, the horse becomes deceased. If the horse has foals, then said horse isn't deleted.
