@cissycat, yes I am also exited for December and not just for the Christmas HHs! I'm still hoping that I can afford to put ice 20 on one of my boys before the end of December too and a few of my mares need another copy of DP! :D

@cissycat, I don't know exactly where I'm going with this line yet, so far there going to be Silver Black Chinchillas with Thunderstruck and Splash M with Diamond Sparkle, S+, and Kit M thrown in but I wouldn't mind if you wanted to do something similar and am glad that you like them so much! I actually discovered the Chinchilla\Thunderstruck combo by accident as when I went to put the Chin on my girl up there I had completely forgot that I had also put Thunderstruck on her as well! So it was a shot in the dark that turned out to work really well lol! My original plan was to make her a Chocolate Chinchilla with Kit M and ND1 before that happened and she is my first ever Chinchilla mare that I ever bred too, so I'm definitely still experimenting with it as well! I wish you good luck with your own Chinchilla horses! There are many more kinds other then just the Silver Blacks, so take your time and do a search to see which color base on Chinchilla that you like best! ;)

Lol, I will be going broke next month probably too! Chocolate Chinchillas were my favorite before I found Thunderstruck Chinchilla (but there still my second fav kind of Chinchilla)! We could denfinely do something like that if you would like(though you would probably need the Splash M license as well since most of my foals will have it) its always a good idea to have some outside blood at some point in a line I think, but I am really only breeding even bred Riding horses or Riding ponies, maybe some Warmbloods in the higher generations but definitely No drafts or cobs if that works for you! :)

Wow, that's great! Works for me lol, I thought about Boot Strapping once (purely for show ponies with high PT) but I don't really have the barn space for it anyway and I had started in May of last year! :)

Oh well I just started with it but if I do recall right it's best with black based coat colors like Silver Black, Bay, Brown......ect. Chocolate does work really well with Chinchilla because its also a black based gene that makes a horses coat more of a rich brown color but doesn't show at all on red based ones like Liver Chestnut. Browns and ND1 gives the Chinchilla a more faded/softer look with less of the dapples as well. Putting Chinchilla on a red base horse like a chestnut (I believe but not completely sure) turns the horse completely white with red eyes! I'm by no means an expert on Chinchilla though (feel free to ask some other players too) but I hope this helps! :)
