I have a horse who was born with a sock but now as a two year old has none? I'm wondering if that's normal and just can't see it but I can clearly see the leg?

its called "Foal White" ; alot of r/h horses are born with random white markings that as the y age up and loose the "baby" coat ; they also loose the white :)

Yep, not uncommon. One of my mares that had a white spot on her belly when she was younger doesn’t have it now :)

ValleyofTrees, are you talking about a foal on the game, or in real life?!? The way you said 'I can clearly see the leg' makes me think the game! On the game it may have changed due to the new tobiano updates, or brindle conversion, or maybe it's one of the colors that change with age, like appy or gray, or the image might have been re rolled for some reason. If you post a link to the foal we could give you a better idea

The images on this game is dynamic which is awesome, but also means they are subject to a "reroll" anytime an update is made in the game (like the new Tobiano update). When an image is rerolled, the horses genes stay the same but the dynamically generated photo can change. You can manually re-roll a horses image in the control panel for 100 HB's if you want to try and get an image with a sock again!

Also, even if not Tobiano ; when a horse ages from foal to 2yo the image re generates

@annismyrph I'm not exactly sure how the magic works, but I know the regeneration from foal to 2 y/o is different than a reroll because the markings on my foals are generally pretty similar to what they are grown up.
