How to make more money?
-
I only have like 17,000+ hb, I hear of people who have up to ten million..?? How do they do this? Selling, breeding? I heard it was from showing but I don't see how showing could make THAT much money... Don't you only get 9-10 hb for every show you win? Pls help thx
-
They do get it by showing. They have built up their showing herds, and get enough points to get that money. Also, a lot of them have been playing for years, so that makes a difference too. I also have been playing for years, but I don't show on HJ1 (I do on HJ2), and there is quite a difference in the money I get between the two of them. So build up your horses and show them. Any horse that shows makes points, and you get money from each horse every night depending on the points. So the only horses you don't get any points from in showing, are the ones who come in last. Keep an eye on your showing and if they stay last all the time, get rid of them and get new horses to show. You can show both your intact horses and your spayed and gelded ones. Was Rebecca Iavelli on the old forum

Think! - It's not illegal yet. -
Does spaying/gelding a horse help it show better? If so, do you know how big of a difference it makes?
-
When you show, your horses acquire points. You get money based off how many points your horses have. It's not the prize money from the shows - that helps too - it's the total points your herd has.
The bottom line is that it takes time. It takes a good 10 game years for most horses to have a nice pile of points.
So keep those spayed and gelded horses and keep showing them. :) -
ok, thank you for all the help. just wondering, I know there is another server HJ2 but what is the difference? why would you want an account there instead of here?
-
HJ2 is a quicker paced game. 1 year is only 1 month, compared to the 2 months equal a year over here. Also there are no boosting horses over there, for breeding, as we wanted it to be more equal for all horses and players. Was Rebecca Iavelli on the old forum

So if you make an account over there do you lose all the progress you made here?
-
Nope. They are two totally separate games. Nothing can be traded between them either, just to let you know. Two different servers, so they don't overlap.Post edited by KerredansCorral at 2016-08-24 11:01:59Was Rebecca Iavelli on the old forum

In fact, quite a few of us play on both servers. The biggest difficulty in doing this is that it's hard to keep up playing two games when your stables grow to contain thousands and thousands of horses. One benefit of the upgrades is that they automate some of the work that goes on. A Basic Upgrade, for instance, will train your horses for you automatically. The Premium Upgrade not only trains them but shows them automatically as well. You can use pastures on any level to automate some of your breeding, but you will still have to remove the foals from the pasture, test and name them, so there is always plenty to do to keep up with your games.
