Here’s my story
Every year on New Year’s Eve me and my mom would make items and we would go to our friends house (me and my brother man and parents) and eat until it was time to watch the ball drop and all that New Years stuff (eww kissing). Only me being the Anti social person i was at the time would go downstairs and sleep, I wasn’t into that stuff. We would typically stay until late ( no later than 12:30) but due to covid this year we can’t.Post edited by GildedFire at 2020-12-29 20:11:14Licensed for Mushroom,Onyx, Watercolor, Ice 13, ice 16, Phantom lace, Phantom Diamond sparkle. -

My story.
When I was high school age my parents would throw New Years parties at our house. We had a family friend who participated in civil war re-enactments and had built a cannon for it. He would bring the cannon and shoot it off at midnight. We lived out in the country but had a few neighbors near by. The first year we hadn’t thought to warn any of them. Our closest neighbors, who were in their 90s, had gone to bed. The cannon went off and all their lights started coming on. We felt so bad. lol. Mom ended up calling them to let them know it was us, and from then on we called them every year and warned them ahead of time. Now days we don’t do much of anything for New Years, but have some fun memories from past.

I would like # 77
Back in the 80’s we would all get together an would watch the ball drop. It was a party there was like 20 of us. We were missing one till close to mid night. It was my Aunt she would always put on her lighted ear rings and head out. Her birthday was on January 1,she would show up minutes before so we could all be together. All us kids would have cider and the adults had their drinks we would toast and go on for another hour or so. We lost my aunt a few years ago and I miss her so much she was like a mom to me. We all pretty much live in different states now so we do see each other as much any more. It was great times back then!Post edited by Tzano at 2021-01-04 10:37:30 -
I pick number 50. Every year on New Years Eve Growing up we would have so much fun. There were five of us kids at home and we had so much fun. The older kids did there thing and Parents played cards and what not. My twin and I and any friends or cousins that came over we sat up in the basment and had our own thing going one. And at mid night we were aloud to go out on the front porch and scream as loud as we wanted to Happy New Year.
