Ever since I started my account I have always regretted my user name!
Bambi was a tease name my husband and our "friends" gave me for hitting 3 deer in a months time (none were avoidable) and while I went along with it, I have been wanting to separate myself from that part of my past for more than just the meaning of the name but also because of the people who were in my life at that time. I have crippling PTSD and anxiety and some things are triggers to me and the name "Bambi" was one of them...

In an attempt to move on from my past, I have since changed my name here to Khaos Acres to look forward to the future! The name comes from my business name "Komplete Khaos Acres" (unfortunately too long to use here lol) where I breed and sell ADGA registered Alpine Dairy Goats and, here recently, commercial Boer Goats. I also have been trying to grow my milk product lines but it's going slow as I need to find the right recipes... So I found it fitting to make the name change now while hoping 2021 graces me with good luck :x

@SherwoodStables I can definitely do that! :)
This was my last kid born back in September (out of season by like 3-5 months :)) )
His grandmother is the next one to kid at any time now

And wow that's a great name for a goat farm. Never met a goat that didn't have a little mischief spirit in them.

@Sherwoodstables it is literally how our lives are here.. if it's not completely chaotic, something is definitely wrong! And the goats don't make it any easier! Especially with 2 surprise births last year from does we bought that weren't suppose to be pregnant... The first one kidded triplets (1 buckling and 2 doelings) and then the second was the monster of a baby in the picture who is a buckling... He was an assisted birth! Mom was a first timer with a single buck kid who had all the room to grow, she couldn't pass him on her own! Now his grandmother and another one of my alpine does are due within the next few days through the end of February, my first goat ever who is a Nigerian is due April 27th and I just bought 2 commercial Boer does last weekend with one being due very soon and the other lord only knows when she's due... It's going to be an interesting year with a bunch of babies!

Everyone changing names is going to make my brain explode! :)) Love the name by the way! Khaos is always so much fun...especially when you get to stand back and watch it unfold. ;)

I've actually been contemplating it for a year and a half now but have just been putting it off.. I don't mind still being referred to as Bambi but after certain events that unfolded right after Thanksgiving and started back up again right before Christmas, I am kind of ready to put the name behind me especially since the original person who gave me the nick name is no longer a main factor in my life (can't fully unclaim her as she's family but I don't want anything to do with her).
But I fully agree that chaos is always fun to watch unfold! You never know which way it's going to go! :D
