Please help explain Axiom!

So this thread is in the Genetics category, which doesn't seem to get much traffic. OP had a couple more questions, and I'm curious too, so I'm linking it here.

I'm far from an expert on axiom but what I've noticed personally seems to be that the final markings and colors are really influenced by the white genes, and in particular if you are mixing wrong warp with with red, blue or green. Mixing nexus with any of those will not result in an unknown anomoly. Nexus has to be hom or it just expresses as stars over the base color. Sorry, this doesn't really answer it but that's about all I know.

I do know that white markings will turn black or dark gray without wrong warp added. I learned that with these two:
WN John Marston C1G
WN Arthur Morgan B1G
But you can get an unknown anomaly color description with them mixed, it just doesn't change the base coat. It just tends to look like it's het x.

SH Snap Outcomes
Granted, that's just my experience with my own breeding.Thanked by 1SherwoodStables
