Will this horse's score ever increase? I don't know if I should dump it or if I should I hold onto it and try showing again in a few months? I was never really concrete on whether horses scores would hit a ceiling. I've got alot of horses I'm holding onto because I'm not sure whether they are potentially viable if I just give them a chance or not.

Definitely done, score won't change. If HJ2 was any indication then horses that were losing before started doing well, simply with so many more horses being shown so the scores needed changed slightly. This when the auto show was changed to enter everything. She's got 78 points alrwady which is adding to your weeking profits now, not a huge amount but not nothing either. Depends how much barn space you have!

She likely won't gain points very fast. It would take months, most likely before her score increases. She doesn't have a large number of points at present, but she has enough to gain you something under the new system which rewards owners according to the number of points their horses have each week. Because she didn't place last, she earned 4 points in her last show and 12 points in the show before that. So, that is a plus.

It costs you 50hb to enter her in a class at present. If she enters twice in a week, that is a total cost of 100hb in entry fees. She made a total of 56hb in her last two classes, so her winnings for the two classes made just a little more than the cost for one of them. But that's not counting the points bonus.

I don't know if that will bring her close to breaking even, but it's something to keep in mind.

She makes 46.8 hbs a week. Probably better to replace her with a young horse and point them up.
