I know his tattoo says that he is an exceptional producer. Should I remove him and put him there because it seems like he doesn't show as well to me? What would you do if you owned him?

It is easier for other people to give advice on specific horses if you provide a link, rather than expecting them to search for the horse. Is this the horse you mean? http://www.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=4311924
What do you mean by "remove him"? As an exceptional producing champagne, he will sire good foals. From his show record, I would judge him to be gaining about 3 training points to his score per week with an inconsistency of +/-2 (the maximum that tests as "consistent"). The 3 point gain means his PT is probably in the 9s (normal PT for foundations), so he should have a decent chance of being successful as a show horse. Especially at the lower levels, luck has a major influence on the outcome of any individual show, so there is no point in making decisions about showing any young horse. The best thing to do is to just show everything twice a week since every horse except the on that comes in last gains show points, which add to your showing bonus.Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses in all the fancy colors.

Ok. I meant to remove him and just let him sire some babies. Or possibly sell him.

Ex pros can be good showers, they really shine in the breeding shed however! I would definitely keep all of his foals as they should be some great show horses!
