I just did a search of my 10 year old stallions, selecting Paper Level from the Advanced Sort first and then PT score from the Basic Sort second. The results appear to be sorted by paper level and then PT score within each paper level.

I then did a search for my stallions younger than 15, and they reported sorted by age, then Paper Level, then PT score within that paper level.

The default search order is always by age, so any search of horses of various ages will automatically sort by that first and then the other parameters within the age groups.

Thats odd because when clicked your link I still see it as PT score and then by paper level within the pt score, not by PT within paper level.
