I was not sure if I should contact the owner or not for these questions. Any help is appreciated.

I would like to upgrade my account to give it a shot. If I find that I want a premium account, can I upgrade on top of that or would it charge me fully for it even if I did basic first?

Is Premium only monthly? Can I pay for like 3 months like basic?

If you have a basic and you upgrade to premium the basic will go 'on hold' until you convert it to ivs or you deactivate your premium.

The upgrades do not stack. You have one or the other.

No premium is only monthly.

Speaking personally, once you have tried the premium upgrade, you will probably find it very hard if not impossible to do without all the special features of that level of play. Unless there are financial reasons for having to revert to the Basic level, I seriously doubt that you would want to go back.
