Hi Ladybugdea! Welcome to the game! I used to have pet rats and just adored them! Right now I have a cat that is quite the hunter so I'll have to get back to the ratties later. My previous cats had ratties grab their noses and bite at feet, so the rats had that those cats well trained! Not so with this cat!

The best way to make money on the game is to invest in some good show horses. It's not near as much fun as breeding all the lovely babies, but it does keep you in the money to FUND the breeding operation

There are always some kind of contests or giveaways going on, as well.

Yeah I got some horses for the quest and somehow after I made that post I got 25k so idk how. I don’t know if there’s a notification area that would tell me that. I’m also confused cause the thing says shows run every 15 minutes so how often can I enter horses in shows?

The 25k was probably your Welcome pack gift. It should have come along with some cash and a new barn and/or pasture. You get it for posting on this thread.

Horses only train once a week, but they can enter shows twice a week. The shows running every 15 minutes is for people like me who have been playing for 10+ years and have @4000 horses to enter!

Ladybugdea, anyone with that many horses probably has a Premium upgrade. It automatically puts your horse in the best available class for you, and you don't have to do much managing at all!

Ah okay. I’m debating on if I should get some more fixed horses for showing since the game at least says that fixed horses make more or something. But I don’t know what a cheap price actually is.

Bare bones basic is 2500 HBs. The general recommendation is 1 breeding horse for every 3 show horses. As a new player horses you create will have some total points already. Keep any over 400ish and spay or geld them to get the spay/geld bonus.

I’ve loved horses since I was a small child. Have had quite a few during my lifetime but I am currently horseless. Also love cats. Have 3 of those. Plan to breed Belgian-esque drafts and grey/white Percheron lookalikes to start. After that who knows...
