I put a stallion and 50 mares in my pasture a few days ago. I just hit breed and I got the following notification:
Pasture Breeding Report:

50 mares found to breed
The foal from 000 Midget Gem 000 and 0SustainedScottNorthwest did not survive.
This foal carried an excessive burden of white mutations causing it not to survive.
Primary pasture email sent.
Best of pasture email sent for .
Pasture Status
Use the pasture to auto breed lots of horses at once. Or leave your horses in the pasture to get better ability foals and have them breed automatically.

You have 1 breedable stallions and 11 breedable mares in this pasture.
It will cost an estimated 5500 hbs to breed them

It seems to have recognised that there were 50 mares to be bred, but has not bred them all? I'll leave them all there, so you are welcome to have a look. I also have a oicture of the page I can pop on Facebook for you if its helpful.

I was having problems with my pastures not breeding right last season, but it seems my bug report was taken down so not sure if thats relevant.

Sometimes you just have to hit the button more than once.

Just need to hit the button more than once sometimes. Pastures are getting worked on so that will get looked at when I get to that stage in pastures.

My pastures are still playing up. I left them as they were for a few days, returned and pressed breed pasture again a few times and they still wouldn't breed the last 11 mares. I tried removing all the mares which had bred once, and they still wouldn't breed. I took the stallion out and put him back and they still wouldn't breed. I decided to cut my losses and give up on breeding that group this season.
I then put a whole new group in the pastures (mares I created in yesterdays event). I then put 2 of my stallions in the pasture and now they wont breed at all. I've tried pressing a few times and logging in and out and they just wont work properly. I've not had this issue on my other servers, so I don't know what else to try.

I would guess there is some confusion going on with how pastures work then since they appear to be working just fine for others.

Right now you have no horses in your pasture. You will need to leave the horses in there for us to look at so we can help you figure out what the issue is. Posting what error messages it is giving you will also help clarify things.

Okay, I have returned the mares and stallions to the pasture. No matter how many times I click the breed pasture button, thye still refuse to breed.
There are no error messages coming up. I click the breed pastures button and I get this:

Ok I have figured out the issue. It is 100% unique to your account and the mares you are trying to use. All of those mares have phantom Autumn. You don't own a license for that gene so you are not allowed to breed those mares.

I don't see in your records where you purchased that gene. How did you acquire it? Paypal?

The next questions would be, at any point did you do a merge or give away an autumn license in the gift exchange?

Ah. I'm so glad I haven't been going mad. I got the phantom autumn licence on the GMT lab on this stallion.

I don't remember when that sale was, but I imagine the horse would have been under 6 years old when I GMT'd him.
I had live breedable offspring from him, but maybe only later generations.
I sent him to Nikanj (https://www.huntandjump.com/member.php?uid=263826) during the Christmas gift exchange.
They already had more than one copy of the licence as shown here:

Therefore I assumed that when I sent him over, I would keep my licence. Perhaps I made a mistake?

You gave away your copy to Nikanj when you sent him. There would have been a message warning you only had one copy. If Nikon has multiple I can move one back.
