He hasn't been tested. You will do much better will adds and stud fees if your horses are all tested. The testing is FREE. Just a helpful hint.
None of his foals are "blue". The colts paper "B"
SandyCreek Acres has said this in another post:
Breeding quality is judged by how a stallion or mare papers. It can also be judged by checking the Average Foal PT of a horse's offspring.
Stallion papers, from worst to best are Showable Only, C, B, A, *Star.
Mare papers, from worst to best are Failed, Yellow, Red, Blue, *Gold.
Stallions and Mares that paper at the lowest quality are less likely to pass Gelding Advice, Strict Mare Advice, and Showing Aptitude, though if both showing and breeding ability are about equally low, they may get past SAT without being snipped.
I strongly suggest reading this:http://www.huntandjump.com/forum/discussion/6647/papering-what-does-it-all-mean
You can find a lot of information under the "Important Links" section on the forum.
Good Luck! -
Now ✅ passed gelding advice

That foal was culled by the person who bought her!

Blue is a mare papering grade. Mares cannot be papered until they have 3 living foals. Mares cannot be bred until they are 4 years of age. Since your stallion was created last month(last season/breeding year) as a 4 year old, if he was bred last season, his oldest foals would only be 2. It is impossible for him to have had a blue papered foal, since none of his foals would be old enough for mare papering to begin with.
The colts did however paper B, which is an improvement over their sire, and a great thing. I think you may just be confusing the two separate grades of B for stallions and Blue for mares.
Glad he passed testing for you, and best of luck with his future breeding :)Go boldly, where no App has gone before! -
