Can you add RGS genes to merged foundations?
Should I add the RGS genes to the individual horses first and then merge them?

I ask because I'm planning on merging these two and adding the new Rainbow Riot genes.

I don’t know the answer to your first question. I’d pm Ammit for an exact answer.

However I do know players in the past have added genes to the two horses and then merged them. An example would be adding two rainbow riot genes to one horse and two different rainbow riot genes to the second horse than merging them together getting 4 different genes on one horse. I don’t know if that’s something that would interest you or not.

Yes you can add to merged horses. If you add the genes before merging, you will have to add it to both horses to get it on both strands, so it would be cheaper to add them after merging.

I saw this while debating on pulling the trigger for merging. If it’s no longer accurate, should it be removed?

You may combine the currently selected horse with any GMTable non-chimeric foundation horse you own. The primary horse will be marked as university bred and be ineligible for random gene sales or cloning in the future. It costs 10 GMTs to merge cell lines. The horse you select below will be permanently destroyed.

Ahh the limitation on clones having genes added was lifted when the pricing structure for cloning was reworked.

I thought so but time has been very warped lately and I wasn’t sure which had come out first; the ability to merge or the rework for clone pricing structure. =))
