Hello, MaryJane11. Welcome to Hunt and Jump. I hope you're beginning to find the helpful places in the forum, but just in case, here are some good links.

At the bottom of the Left Margin menu, under Resources, is a link to the FAQ User Guide which provides basic information about most aspects of the game.

There's also a Genetics Guide that gives some information about various horse colors and their genetic background.

You'll find a link to information about breeding and the important Rules and Terms of Service.

At the top of the forum page are some pinned links with more helpful information. "Basic Information for New Players" is one of them.

There's also some "Formerly Unwritten Rules for forum posting." This covers the important rules that help this community remain helpful and civil, with no unpleasant interactions.

The game is based largely on real life, and, like real life, can be amazingly complex. So if you have questions, please ask them. We'll give you answers.
