    Trying to bid on a couple horses in the auction but it keeps saying I need a certain gene license. Where do I get these?

    Some of them are avilable every month through the upgrade page ; they change on the 1st and the 15th ; you purchase them and can put them on a non bred foundation horse ; they are usually r/l cash only. Ammit has made a few avilable through the GMT labs :)

    You would have to buy the genes with real money, or pay another member HBs so that they will use their own real money to buy the gene for you.

    You can buy horses with closed gene licenses that you do not own as long as they are spayed or gelded though.

    It’s fairly common. The exchange rate is $1usd per 100k in game money. Though I’ve seen several large purchases require more than the going rate. Like if someone wants a $50usd purchase, the person buying the genes might want a couple extra million, but that depends on the player. If you watch the ISO’s on the main discussion form section you can get a feel for how the exchanges work

    ISO means In Search Of. You don't have to apologize, we all started new and there's definitely a learning curve with all our special abbreviations. We're all happy to help out though! ;)
