That’s a little steep for her. As she more than likely will be spayed sorry if this comes off as harsh.

She is cute ! but she is also bootstrapped. I think you might want to research bootstrapping a little. If you keep her she would make a really nice show pony :)

What is bootstrapped?

Btw i am thinking of keeping more of my show ponies and seeing how the foals grow. I have a few 2 year olds from foals that i bred that will be stunning show horses i think.

Any help would be appreciated for pricing and how to grow my stables

I would say don't worry about pricing at all just auction everything you don't want it will sell to the game for 2500 minimum anyway. I've been building my show herd basically for free doing that though the two day wait between cycles sucks. I gain about +100 dailybonus per cycle

@gildedfire. How can you tell if a horse is going to be spayed or gelded? How can i choose the right stud for the right mare?

Well I'm a newbie but my personal system is to snip any filly that fails BA to PT test all colts, snip and show those over 10.0 and auction the rest intact.

@Ambervalleyarabians She is unevenly bred. Her dam is a foundation mare and her sire is a lined horse. That’s basically a guaranteed spay. The best way to have the highest chance of producing foals that are breeding quality is to breed foundation x foundation, 2G x 2G, 3G x 3G, etc.

@AmberValleyArabians ; what you did when you bred that filly is exactly bootstrapped ; in this case you would NOT test the fillies to keep them intact ; you would autosnip all the boys to start a decent showherd from them and then breed the fillies back to dad when old enough ; and do the same thing over again. Essentialy bootstrapping is a way to grow a higher point show herd somewhat quickly.

This would be a calculated choice. For example I did a variation of bootstrap with my nexus line because I was gifted the stud in question and I valued nexus genes above good breeding BUT I also 1) have no intention of selling my nexus horses and 2) have a perfectly even 2G line to go with it.
