Hi, I'm new! I play other horse games and wanted to check this one out as well. So far it's great! In real life I own a dog named Oreo, two bunnies named Scout and Robby, and seven fish. My family also has one other dog and two other bunnies. I am 19, so I will be moving out of the house finally in August! I love to meet new people and make friends. An interesting fact about me: in college I am majoring in social work and minoring in equine-assisted therapy. I plan on opening my own barn when I am done with school where I can rescue horses, rehabilitate them, and train them to be therapy horses in my program. What kind of advice do you guys have for making money and just general game play?

Howdy y'all! I'm new to this game. I love horses and all animals in general. I am pretty friendly if I do say so myself. I do have two other accounts as well, but they are also brand new haha. I'm doing my best to figure out the game, but would love any advice!

Hi @awesomeness2121! Welcome! The best advice is to get 3 show horses (spayed/gelded) for every 1 breeding horse you own.

Have you decided what kind/colors of horses you're going to breed?

Thank you ConfluenceStable! I grew up riding English but when I got a job as a trail trail guide I started learning western (long loose reins etc) we now teach out horses neck reining. We did a little barrel racing and pole bending but for the moment happy hacking is our go to! Do you ride

Interesting job Nickle. I do enjoy hacking out and going on trail rides with my dressage and eventing horses. I'm assuming your able to use your own horse when your riding as a guide?

When I was young, and could still bounce everytime I hit the ground, I rode a lot, but I ended up as the broodmare manager on a Quarter Horse farm in southern California that specialized in Trail (showing) for the biggest part of my 'youth'. Nowadays I work in civil service and this game is my "equine fix". Gotta make a living! Now, if I could just win that Powerball lottery, I'd be right back out there on a horse!

Hello all, I'm steelmagghia, or steel. I've played a few other horse games before (pony island, Howrse) but I generally end up getting overwhelmed after a while. This game seemed a bit more low-key and something I can come back to when I've had a break if needed. I'm just getting the mechanics of it, and certainly have made mistakes already, haha. I'd love your best advice!

Hiiii! I'm not going to divulge my name because I've finally learned, just shy of my 27th birthday, that there are crazy people online, lol. With that being said, feel free to call me anything you want... as long as it's not late for dinner. I've enjoyed being around horses and learning about them since I was a small child. That later developed into wanting to take lessons, which was a whole other thing, but then we had to move and I never had the heart to pick it back up again. The first time I went near a horse after moving, I started sobbing. It wasn't pleasant. I joined HAJ because, honestly, I wanted something low-key to distract myself with and I've been on similar sims that have since shut down. As for the pets I own, personally, I have a fat, lazy cat (Scooter) and a cuddly bunny (Chip). If you'd like to become my friend, I don't have an issue with it at all! Nothing is confusing me (yet), but I'll probably come crying to somebody the moment I'm not really sure what to do. Regarding my drink choice, it's 110% coke products... unless in the case of flavored Mountain Dew (don't like the original Mountain Dew) and Dr. Pepper.

I’m not exactly new but this is my first time back after a 2-3 year break. I’m from the US and would love to make some new friends! I’ve had horses since I was 2. I currently own 3 horses and a donkey (she’s more like a dog-key lol) I ride western now but I would love to try English one day. I have 4 dogs, 1 indoor cat, and 3 outside cats. I’ve got a decent understanding of things as I used to play all the time. Other then trying to gmt my foundation stud but I had several lovely people help me out with that! I didn’t realize how much I missed the community here until I started playing again. Feel free to message me if you ever need a friend. I’m fairly shy at first but I warm up quickly!

Does anyone know where I can find any possible mares that are able to be bred? The most i'm going to go for a mare would be 2k at this point or maybe 3-4k.

Use the create horse tab set it to 4yo filly you have to make sure it's 4 though.

If you auction them they will sell for 2500 minimum. Also I wouldn't sell anything with more than 250 points. you'll need those later.

I was here a few years ago but got drawn back. Anyway, I'm hoping to possibly breed somatic mutations and perhaps Champagne... though, any nice color would do it for me-- love the flashy horses with chrome. Probably why I own a paint horse IRL.

Heya!! I'm Jay. I've loved horses since I was a wee thing, I grew up devouring horse books (breed books, horse care, "how to think like a horse", etc) and just in general loving horses. I currently ride as physical therapy for a rare genetic disorder, and it's honestly totally improved my quality of life. I'm going to be moving soon and I'll be able to ride my neighbor's horses, plus eventually maybe get my own!
Also, I'm a total cat nut. I foster kittens and I have 15 kittens in my house right now (one is about to be adopted today though!).
