Since we had a bit of a hiccup with the last one, I thought I would go ahead and start a brand new futurity with short term and long term goals!


Categories 1-5 are a short term challenge open from October 1st until rollover on October 31st

Category 1 - Best back story.
In the notes section of your horse's page, make up a short story about your horse. This can be about his/her personality, their history, their "bloodlines" or even some fantasy story about them. Be creative! Be sure to include your horse's name/ nickname in the notes as well.
Prizes - 50k split winnings (1st place = 25k, 2nd place = 15k, 3rd place = 10k)

Category 2 - Best sales ad.
Write up the finest or silliest sales ad you can imagine! You don't have to actually put your horse up for sale, just list it in his/her notes!

Category 3 - Best dressed.
This category is divided in two sections, one for basic tack and one for upgraded tack packs such as Lusterdust or Pirate. You can customize your tack under the tack tab of your horse's page. This includes colors of tack as well as backgrounds.
3a. Show off your horse in his/her fanciest finery! This category is for basic tack only.
3b. Went wild with IV's? Show off your most magnificent mounts made with upgraded tack packages!
Prizes - 50k split (25k/25k)

Category 4 - Worst dressed.
This category is divided the same as category 2.
4a. Gone color blind with all choices in the tack shop? Enter your "Fashion Don't" here! This category is for basic tack only.
4b. Did your IV spree lead you astray? Is your horse all gussied up and too crazy to looking to leave the barn? Enter him/her in this category for upgraded tack packages!
Prizes - 50k split (25k/25k)

Category 5 - Most elaborate tattoo.
5a. Make up your most beautiful creation to adorn your horses here
5b. Tried to make a tattoo and ended up with an epic fail? Don't delete that disaster! Share it with the world!

The Rules!
- Any horse entered in this contest must be a foundation horse created on or after October 1st
- All creates are excepted in categories 1 - 5 including geldings and spayed mares.
- Each horse can only be entered in one category, however you may enter as many horses as you like in each category.
- Prizes will be given out within a week following the end of the contest.
- Name your horse as follows to enter the contest. Put "FTY" first (for futurity), then enter the category number/letter and follow it up with your abbreviated stable name and then a horse number. For example, I would name a horse "FTY C4a HFA 53" to enter him in the worst dressed basic tack section. This is your method of entry! A basic search of name for each category will be used for judging, so be sure to follow the instructions completely! Click on each category to see an example of naming. This is the link that will be used in judging as well.
