Need to ask my giftee several (or more) questions so I can get information without revealing myself.

You can do that from the GE page now. There is a box
"Notes to My Recipient:
If you send something other than a horse please let your recipient know by recording it here. You can also ask your recipient questions or leave them information here."

Giftee is the person sending me stuff? isn't it? and I would be the gifter. and for the horse I send, this time i'm the gifter and the other person is the giftee? I'm getting awfully confused.
Nope, when I read this post, it makes very little sense to me. Can someone help please?

Gifter (plural gifters) One who gives a gift.

Giftee (noun) the recipient of a gift.

When i try to send a note to my gifter (the person sending me goodies) there doesn't seem to be a spot.

Like Golden Spur said above, just make a forum post to your gifter.

Players can only send notes to the person they are gifting to. If you want to respond you have to make a forum post. You can not directly respond via the exchange.

Thank you for explaining, I truly appreciate it, but wouldn't that give you away? And, it's my giftee i want to send a message, without giving myself away.
