    I just got my first sea pony ever! ... unfortunately, he's my Pretzel Twist create with the added Appy Hour gene... 8( Sometimes the universe just wants to play a mean joke on you. XD I just had to come in here and share my (mis)fortune.

    You don't have to remove the tail...unless you want to.

    I have mares that are 13 with their mermaid tails still on them ; unless you NEED the gmt ; just name her something you can find her with easily like SeaPonPretzel then you can find her in your barn search using the name :)

    Wait... remove the tail? You mean the entire horse doesn't disappear? I thought I had to trade in the whole foal to get the GMT token. :-? That's what the in-game text makes it sound like.

    The trade in is just for the tail, not the whole horse :)

    Oh, that's good to know! The game text is confusing on that point, I definitely thought I was going to lose the whole horse. I'm really glad I can keep him even if I DO want that GMT token. :-D

    Just to clarify, "trading in" for the GMT will remove the tail and the "Deep Sea" background. This is also the case for candy ponies (which come mostly in October and December). Trading them in will remove the candy coating. But you always get to keep the horse!
