Thank you for respecting the country and honoring 4th of july. I know it's not a super popular position to take nowadays and it's really great to see. I love this country and my family on both sides have served in several wars. I love seeing their sacrifice and service honored.

These are the times that try men souls. The summer solider and sunshine patriot will in this crisis shrink from service to his country but it is he who stands now that deserves the love and respect of every man, woman and child.

I am not american but I like your thoughts, I didn't know 'valley forge' and the mentioned Thomas Paine's book. I'll try to find the book and read it.

Thank you for this post ; I ve had Family memebers in every War since WWII ; I even have one on "The Wall" in DC from the Vietnam War. The sacrifice every man woman and child has made is something to honor and cherish.

@annismyrph :D. Oh man I saw the replica wall when it was on tour, as my dad was in 'nam, it was like 20 years ago but I still remember, it's insane. Thanks to your family :x

@boredaf - yes you are right and we were quite lucky since WWars didn't destroy the country. There is still a lot to visit.
