    I want to give away some GMT’d horses!

    Lets celebrate our wonderful members!

    Tell me about another player who helped you out or did something really nice for someone else. It could also be a new person who has dived headfirst into the spirit and friendliness of the game. Write a one or two paragraph blurb telling us what sets that person apart from the ‘herd’.

    Then tell me what YOU think would be the perfect GMT’d foundation horse for that person.

    I will make a horse from your list of genes (only GMT lab genes are allowed) and send it to the person you nominated. Please stay with the spirit of the game and don’t ask your nominee what they want. Try to see how well you have them figured out!

    Ohh Sharayah Stables. The past few months have been very very hard on her, but that hasn't stopped her once. She's hosted giveaways both on the forums, and on the FB group(s). She's participated in they pay it forward June 2021 thread. She's a very welcoming member, and is always willing to help with questions, and one of the first people to welcome new players to HJ.

    A perfect or near perfect GMT'd horse would be a yearling RH The Bronze Age mare with hom Sooty+, DP, Satin, nd-1, flaxen, chocolate, and KP. With TE1/2, KitM.

    I'd nominate Bluchrystals they're always ready to help a newbie without being asked, up to and including gifting genes, horses and HB. Over the summer they ran a pair of newbie-only contests giving over 4m hb in total prizes. I'd really like to see them recognized, they deserve shiny things.

    Hmm I'm thinking perhaps: liver RH mare. e/e hom DP hom sty+ with ND1/D sb1/sb1 cr/cr Te1/te2 homKP2 homGP. autumn arrival if you can holly and ivy if not.

    I nominate HelenofTroy. She is always a great person to talk to and is a great friend. During the gift exchange she made me two great foundation mares that she probably spent a lot on. And I have also seen her do several other things for newbies. She’s a great person and a great friend.

    I think she would like a Flaxen Liver chestnut (Homozygous Sty+ and DP). Probably with splash and Homozygous Appaloosa. Also Sabino 1/white3.

    I would like to nominate boredaf. "A new person who has dived headfirst into the spirit and friendliness of the game" this is them to a T, since day one they have been helping others and giving away Nexus horses to players that wanted/needed them!


    A GMT'd horse that would fit I think would be a WB Experf Hom DP Liver that has Hom Satin, Kit M & Tobie. Maybe S+ too.

    I would like to nominate annismyrph. She has been one of the first to try and help new players with any questions, and as being new she has a special take; where as some of us (me) have to go back and re read some stuff that we have forgotten. She has been a extra special online friend to some of us that have been dealing with some big personal issues. She is quick to offer up anything gene wise that she might have and scours the forum bringing to attention anything that we missed. That for me is a huge help as I don't always get a chance.

    A GMT'd for her would be her own personal unicorn of colours ... and super simple ... Blue Roan Hom Tobiano Exceptional Stallion

    What do you do when the person who you want to nominate nominates you ? Thats only part of the reason I d like to nominate Corvus, she has taken the time to explain sometimes over and over the things I didnt understand with gene sequencing or pt vs breedability ( which I understand may actually be linked now ?). She has been a source of information and a freind inside and outside the game. And yes we all try to give when we can when we know someone collects a certain HH or is looking for certain things. Corvus to us or vice versa explaining the old and the new, it's part of what makes this such an incredable community.

    A GMT'ed horse for her would be a Chimera of course HOM Dp Liver on one side and HOM DFP1 Dun Appaloosa on the other, HOM Halo / Snowflake / And Spot regulater on both sides with HOM KP/KP2 Exceptional Stallion

    I would like to nominate boredaf as well. He mastered the spirit of the game super quickly, giving away horses and being a generous and helpful player. He had free nexus colts available for new people and does many other things for new players.

    The list of tattoos on the horses page may not be 100% correct, because I made a couple mistakes and tried to remove the boo boo tattoos. Shouldn't do this stuff late at night!
