WV Velvet So Boring

30 years old and bringing in good money. It's the oldest I have ever managed to keep a horse. The next oldest I have is 28.

This is my oldest at 27. Still good money for a 2nd gen gelding, plus he’s pretty lol.

My oldest is 26. I keep several oldies around to see how old they’ll get. I have quite a few well over 20!

My judgement is that she is a good investment for you. Keep her trained weekly and shown twice and her point total is bound to increase gradually. She'll probably level off (stop adding points to her show score) when she's about 11, but that gives her a good chance of many more years of bringing the hajibucks. There's a chance she'll age out of the game at 18, but if you're very lucky, she'll last into her 20's.

Here's one of my spayed mares with a slightly lower PT score. She's reached the venerable age of 29 and is still adding just over 300 hbs to my bank account nightly.
