possible bug? Cannot enter ino clubs
-
I just bred this colt and tried to enter him into clubs. He tested grullo (black and dun) however I cannot enter him into the black clubs? I cannot enter him into pearl either, even though he tested for that gene?
Am I missing something?

I believe that eligibility for both the black and pearl clubs are based on color name, rather than genotype.Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses in all the fancy colors.

Then shouldn't dun be excluded also? He was elig for that club. it's Just confusing to me on how it picks up. Unless programming has an algorithm that needs to be changed. I wonder if this is part of the change Ammit was talking about
-
Grullo is a form of dun. Grullo is in his phenotype name. Black and pearl are not, therefore he cannot be entered into those clubs if I understand correctly.I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!

Ok, I can see that. Maybe its my programming mind, and just trying to understand the programming logic, so please don't think I'm trying to argue.
if the algorithms just go off the color name, then how does it know which white group to put it in for white spotted? Or better yet, STY+ for sooty, DP or GP? those arent in any names that I could tell at least
Ammit did mention that the clubs will have an overhaul/ maybe this will be cleared up then. -
Some clubs are by phenotype some are by genotype just like clubs in real life. This won't be changed.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

I don’t know exactly how it works. @annismyrph, remember when you first started playing and were frustrated that there was no breeders club for blue roans? It’s just how it is I guess.I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!

@Nightpheonix Yes lol ; there are clubs for Chestnuts / Liver Chestnuts / And Roan Chestnuts ( technically red roans or Liver red roans ) so in theory 3 clubs the same horse can enter. Blue Roan is a recessive of Black and can only be entered in Roan, even though the horse minus the R gene is Black just like the horse minus the R gene is Chestnut or Liver Chestnut but no biggie. The awards other than for bragging rights don't have much bearing on the game itself any more, at least from what I ve found. Now to some older players who have years of playing they might have more bearing :)Thanked by 1Nightphoenix

I've noticed this with some horses. Sometimes I think they are eligible for a club then find out theyre not. I hope we get more clubs for some of the other genes.
I wish we could do something with the leader boards for the top horses. The ribbons are nice to see on your horses records. Collecting them is fun. But wish there was something a little more to them. -
