Breeding Fantasy Genes

I actually bought a copy of a fantasy gene. It said I can't breed the stallion I modified because I need a license. I thought buying the gene was the license?

The sire or dam of this horse has a closed gene which you do not own the license for (Phantom Apple Picking). You must purchase a foundation horse with this gene to breed it.

That is odd, Ammit will have to help with that one. You own the horse with the gene, but for some reason, it does not show you owning the license (and it should).#243786

Thank you. I was not sure if I misunderstood or if it was a bug. Sounds like breeding my apple is a bug.

Not helpful to the situation but I love the way the apples look on your horse!

I have just checked your horse's page. It does show that the Apple Picking gene is present on your horse. That gene also shows up in the list of Closed Genes you own now.
Perhaps it just took a while before the list of genes owned by you was updated. Try breeding him again now, TimidGoddess. I think it should work now.Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2021-09-06 10:16:23
