    First I got an appaloosa mare with W20, so her frame gene had something to work on. (see my earlier post)

    Next, I got a filly who trotted in with the 10k lottery prize. She got spayed and doesn't have much of a PT score, but it's high enough to keep her, anyway.

    @JoelG: If you play long enough, you will probably have similar luck from time to time. Candy Ponies are truly rare, however. Lottery prizes show up more often than Candy Ponies, but not usually often enough to be called frequent surprises, although some days are luckier that way than others.

    In case you don't know this, being relatively new to the game, there are three Lottery prizes that can show up when you're creating horses. The 10k prize appears most often. The 250k prize shows up occasionally. The 1,000,000 lottery prize is very rare, naturally. :D
