Just because it's nearly the end of the breeding season.

This contest is open to players who have joined the game from the beginning of January through September. But everyone can join in on the judging. :D

Post your very favorite one of this year’s foals and tell us why it is your favorite. It could be because it hit a high PT mark, got all the special genes you are breeding for, has a very unique or beautiful or otherwise striking pattern…you get the idea--whatever it might be that makes this one foal really stand out as a breeding success.

Note: If you don’t already know: you’ll find two links at the bottom of a horse’s Info tab. Copy the LONG one and paste it into a comment in this discussion. This will insert the foal’s image and a link to it.

There will be two categories
Category A: 2nd through 4th gen foals
Category B: foals of higher generations or bootstrapped. Please indicate which category you are entering with your post. You may enter one or the other but not both.

All players are invited to cast votes for your favorites on the list using the “Thanks” button. You may vote for up to three foals. Don’t explain your reasons for the choices. You can include the breeder’s reason for selecting a foal to help you make your selections, but there’s no need or place for explanations of your votes.

The contest will be open until September 30th. Prizes will be announced on October 2.

Grand Prize for the most votes counting both categories: a young bootstrap stallion + 250,000 hbs from Sharayah Stables

Category Prizes:
1st prize: 3 high PT show horses
2nd prize: 2 high PT show horses
3rd prize: 1 high PT show horse.

Winners of the 1st through 3rd prizes in each category may also choose to select a straw from a KP stallion donated by kgstable or one from a foundation Homozygous Kit M stallion donated by SandyCreekAcres.

I'm so excited to present my favorite filly! I think she's stunning, she's one of my first Blue papered mares to pass her SBA, she's evenly bred and she's by my own Classic Glenfiddich. I know she'll be bold and beautiful and be a wonderful producer. I think I'm already a winner! :)

This filly is my favorite foal because it looks like the Ink Spot gene has given her a bright yellow sweater to keep her warm this fall. Her image just makes me smile.

My entry is for category A. This is a cute little colt that I just adore from this season. His face is so dark but his little nose is pink and cute. I also love his brown tail and tiny brown forelock. I'm also partial to rabicano so I love that he has just enough pigment on his belly for it to show.

A Category:
My highlight this breeding season is definitely this cutie:

MM HydraValkyrie M

With the hom. Satin, DP, Sty, Pangare+, mushroom, and Kit M, and het. KP2, this girl really drove it home for me! The low part is that she tested slightly worse than her dam. I don't have the heart to bootstrap her so I think I will save up and give her a boost! Whatever her testing score may be, I love her, and as ClassicCreations put it, I feel like I'm already a winner regardless!

Also, thank you so much @SharayahStables for making this foal possible by selling her dam and selling me straws from her sire!

This stud colt would fit into catagory A. He’s one of my favorites so far. “Apollo”, as he’s been nicknamed, is Hom for S+ and DP, and has the highest PT score of the season. He is sired by the really nice liver chestnut pearl stallion Annismyrph sold to me last season! I’m excited for what he’s going to be able to produce.

I'm enamored with this boy's freckles, and I don't specifically breed for brown but when it pops up in my pasture it's always a lovely little surprise. I also really like the faint rib-bone look of rabicano. So overall this guy has a bunch of genes I'm really fond of and got a lucky pattern roll for those adorable little freckles on his face. <3<br />

Cloves Forever
This is a submission for category A. I love the look of black-and-white horses, and this fella, unlike many of my other tobianos, has a vibrant combination, not just a vague suggestion of it. He's homozygous for some nice stuff, so I am looking forward to using him in my breeding program.
If you are (or are not) wondering about the name: Eugenol smells like cloves, and a fractal looks the same no matter how much you zoom in on it.

I am still very new and believe the foal fits into category A.

This one is my favorite as my sister owned a horse that looked a lot like this one for a few years. So it brings back good memories.

There is a funny story with her name (if you want to know message me through here) and I didn't want to get my acc banned so I changed her name to the closest thing I could think of which is "Rasin" and I bred her not expecting her to actually turn out like a white rasin

For Category A-
Here’s a filly that I’m really proud of. I was breeding on a whim tonight since the season ends, and created her. She’s one of my first homebred 4th gen, and I love her color. The KP makes her coat look so unique. One the highest PT scores I’ve had this season and is blue papered too. :)
