Yeah the updates really helped me focus my barn on what I want to breed for in regards to clubs which I had not really paid much attention to before. Soooo excited!

I've gotten sour on the leaderboards. I used to make the leaderboards for over 15 years with my nonboosted lines, that stopped in Y102. Normally I don't chase the leaderboards, but it was nice to see my horses on the lists. Nowadays, there are just too many boosted horses to compete with. There's just no way normal lines can hold their own against boosted lines.

@Forestshadow That is completely untrue. There are tons of clubs where unboosted horses are competitive including a huge list of higher eras you can compete in where that won't ever be an issue. If you are not looking into eras you should be. :)

There are also 6 categories for each club. There are tons of LBs to compete in.

I get most of my spots in the points earned categories. I really love that there are six categories per club so that there’s a better chance of making it onto the board in at least one club!

Is there a way to search breeder clubs to see how your horses are doing?

Woo, I actually got some prizes this year! Next season I will try to get all my stud/mare pages opened to update AFPTs too :))

Since the white groups all got merged I didn't expect to get much for ribbons this year, but dang was I wrong lol A very nice update I didn't think we needed! Glad I was wrong

I didn't get any GMT's but I did have one horse come in 24th in the Points Earned by 2nd gen Horses In the Bay and Brown Club! I haven't yet explored any further. Thanks for all your hard work on this project, Ammit.

Returning to say that one of mine took 4th place (!) in the same division of the Black Club!

I'm finding others as I work my way through. This is cheering me up on what has otherwise been a difficult and worrisome day. I'm delighted to leave the real world behind for a bit.

I was going to stop patting myself on the back, but....I just reached the Non-Dun 1 club and found two of mine on the Top Producing Stallions list at 18 and 25. I don't think I ever had a horse end up in that list back before I stopped entering the Breeders Clubs. I so badly needed such lovely excitement today.

Thanks, boredaf. I don't think there's anything in particular that I'm looking for right now, except maybe more time to play with my pixel ponies. :D

It's actually been real life years since I'd even entered any of my horses in the breeders clubs, but this game year I got all or almost all of my horses entered, so it was fun looking through all the lists.

The best advice I can give you is to make sure to enter all your new horses before the 28th of the month. :)

That is absolutely the best advice! There's been so many times I've forgotten until the last day of the month...which is then too late! :))

do foals have to be pttested to count toward leader board?

@boredaf- Thanks! She is one of my ET mares, not even an actual breeder and she placed higher then my line horses did! :))

Oh that means"Embryo Transfer", in other words she's basically a surrogate mare.

Yes #boredaf foals have to be PT tested as the LB for foals is the highest PT

While PT doesn't affect breeding ability, it can give you an idea of the breeding quality of the parents.

A blue papered mare produces better average PT than a red papered mare. After 3 or 4 foals, I will often cull mares that produce a lower average PT.

@boredaf I PT test everything because I just can’t stand those gaps when I’m scrolling through my barns!
