Well hi everyone. I'm not 100% new as I've been playing on forest server for a few weeks, but things have slowed down over there until a new breeding season rolls around, so I thought I'd come to this server and see what it's like here. Seems a little more active (at least right now on the weekend) and it's fun to see new names around!

I plan to try building a bootstrap herd from the ground up as an experiment here. I have the beginning of a herd going on Forest, but it was largely shaped by the generosity of several people, so I already have star/gold paper foals coming out once in a while. Here on Bluegrass I want to challenge myself to a true bootstrap experience and build a herd from the ground up, and see how the process shapes the outcome. All very scientific and serious, of course :-j

To be honest I'm just addicted and this is a good way for me to get twice as much.

Hi, I heard something about posting in a peer group for 25k and an extra barn, which is very important, obviously. I'm not even sure I'm doing this correctly.

I just joined because I adore pet games, especially ones that have a lot of complexity. Love Furry-Paws, for example (dog genetics). I love the waiting factor, the random results, the anticipation, spending fake money... pet games are my jam.

It's not just a warmblood thing, it's just the process of breeding a ton of foundation mares to the highest papered stallion you can get, then breeding back the fillies etc until you gradually increase the whole herd's PT and paper levels.

It doesn't seem to be as popular here on Bluegrass as it is on Forest, though.

Makes sense, but trying to keep track of lines and also make sure everyone is improving seems complicated! Maybe it's just because I'm new and I started with a bunch of bootstrapping advice lol

@Blueberry2005 sometimes what I do is I use herd helpers, create a bunch and see if i can get a candy coat to trade for a GMT, and if they dont i send them off to auction. i dont do that with the speacil create shared by ammit. Sometimes people do bid on the horses i created and i get extra hbs.

If you scroll down there are buttons for each server. Click the server you play on (have the game open when you do), and the go to the Create A Horse page and there will be a notice telling you that you that the horse you create will be pointed.
