Have two full brothers, one is A papered and the other B, but they both have nearly all the genes I’m wanting in a 2G stud to be replacements. I just don’t keep B/Red 2Gs for breeding. I have the GMTs to merge but I’m also trying to save up for the December GE.

So help please! Give me your opinions please.

I would probably save the GMTs and just keep the A papered 2g and geld the B.

They’re both gorgeous!

Are you trying to breed chimeras? If so, merge. If it's a so-so thrill, but not necessary, save the GMT's.

Do you keep superior red papered mares? You could change the B papered stud to a mare for 1 GMT.

I agree with Humboldt ; swap the colt into a mare :)

@Lonestarstables Thank you! That is probably what I’d end up doing.

@bluchrystals Its not a main goal, but a bit of a side goal, I keep anything that is Chimera. Nearly all of my GMTd foundations are Chineras, and about a third of my pasture mares are as well.

@Humbolt and @annismyrph I do not, as these guys came from a exceptionally perfect cross, and I only keep A/Blue, so for me to gender swap him I’d also have to boost him.

Though I think I have my answer now. Thank you guys!
