You have to create a forum post that clearly states it's a forum auction. I suggest you start with a link to the horse - and most people prefer to see an image of the horse as well. Post any relevant info about the horse and when the forum auction will end. At the bottom of your post, wrote the format in which you'd like to see bids. Most people like to see stable name, ID, and bid. So for an example post (to be clear, I am NOT auctioning this horse):
