I have all the genes set to default, Status: any, Gender: mare, Status: only Lined and Archived unclicked, Owner ID: my ID number, Sire ID: 1, and Pasture ID: 0 with the option NL clicked.

Nothing is coming up even though I know I have foundation mares in two different areas that aren't in primary pasture, and I wanted to exclude the primary pasture because that's where I keep my foundation broodmares.

What am I doing wrong?

I see the Lined box checked off. Could that be the problem?

I have 5 pages of mares ? when i changed the sire line to "Not Like" 1

Because you have sire ID 1 and ask the search to not include any foundation horses. Sire ID 1 is the sire of all foundations. Never a need to use it though, because if you want to pull up foundations only, you just uncheck "lined horses".
