    I guess anything is possible, but I wasn't expecting this! Has this ever happened to anyone else? If so, can you share?

    Hasn't happened to me because I always breed the lightest riding horses I can, but I know if both warmbloods are on the heavier side, just inside the threshold, they can throw a foal just above the threshold so it comes out a draft. There are actually some players who have made projects of this and start either with drafts or riding horses and consistently breed them in the opposite direction until they actually turn the line of drafts into riding horses or riding horses into drafts! If I remember right it takes about eight or so generations to do this... but I could be wrong. I could try to find the thread where someone posted about this project.

    Yes - it was me that had the long term project to breed up from Riding Pony (short and light) to Draft (tall and heavy). Since the thread I posted, that CLynnRose has found, I have decided to keep going and breed until I have the tallest heaviest horses possible in the game. :)

    Happens all the time! Just like height, bone weight is inherited within a range determined by the bone weights of the parents :)
