Showing Bonus
-
So Ive been playing this game for years but never really got into it, but now that Im actually enjoying it, I was wondering...
I understand that your showing bonus goes up with the points you hold, do those points stay s long as you have the horse that earned them? How many points do you need to hold before you start being able to support a decent sized farm? (Im still only a baby just now having 300 points or so, but I see people that have millions since the year turned!!) I dont have any good proper show horses yet either so what is the best way to go about breeding them? Does PT really matter that much since I have a few low PTs doing well and some high ones with nothing at all!Breeder of:

Yes, the points stay with the horse - and if you sell the horse the points go with it to the new owner. As to how many points, it depends on what you consider to be a decent sized farm. This game demands patience if you really want to get the most out of it. I don't think there is any such thing as a 'proper' show horse. I show everything including breeding stock (I don't show foals, it's not worth it because they can't train). PT doesn't matter. The best PT score for a new player is around 9.9 because those horses rise steadily up the show levels and usually make at least some money every week. Higher PT horses rise so fast up the lower shows that they don't have time to establish in each class and may make little or no money to start with. The best way to breed horses is to aim for quality in each generation, run your foals through all the free testing and geld/spay anything that doesn't pass. Keep all your foals (if you have room) and show all your adult horses every week.
Hope that helps. -
Thanks very much! That helps a lot. Guess ill just have to keep all my horses sorted then, and just keep up te patience and the breeding program. This account is only a month old, so Im hoping to build it up a good bit :)
