This is such a new, fresh look. I have been switching between HJ1 & HJ2 and it is a huge change! I LOVE that the side menu stays put no matter where you are on the page, unlike before when you had to scroll back up to the top to find it again. Having my bank balance available on ever page is fantastic, as well!

The only issue I have had is actually on the buddy chat with my tablet. When I click on Shooting Star Chat it works fine. When I try to click the two chat rooms above that one, it goes to the Shooting Star Chat. I've tried zooming in and out with the same results. This is difficult to explain, but bare with me - when I tap the Shooting Star Chat, the little dotted box thingy (that is the technical term for it, right?) that shows up before it goes to the page covers the two chats listed above it. When I click on those the little dotted box thingy is in the same spot as the shooting star chat. If anyone else knows what I'm talking about and can explain it better, please do! :)

My only other comment is about the twitter on the side. Perhaps it could be put horizontally at the top of the page instead of the side to free up some of the width.

This is definitely going to take some getting used to!

I'm using Firefox and it seems that by default Stable Home is always the open thing on the menu (and it is open, as I have links to my barns, pastures, and create a horse in the dropdown.) But I've been doing some breeding and testing of babies this morning and every time I want to use a different test I pretty much have to start over; back over to the testing and papering menu, back to find whatever it was that I was looking for.

I guess my question is, are the tabs going to be similar to the way they were before where you could leave some, none, or all 'open', or will it at least remember which menu tab you went into most recently?

Just a little progress post. I have several things I have to create in tandem to move forward. I am having to do a lot of programming in languages I am woefully unfamiliar with to get things modernized and it is slow going.

I am working on tests being moved to barn wide and on the horse page, streamlining our tests, and horse page automation.

Just another status update, everything was put on hold for a bit with the birth of new baby goats on our farm. We are bottle feeding this set (on top of the other two we are already bottle feeding) so things have been kind of chaotic here. I'm playing some catch up with lack of sleep and being so busy, but you can expect to see testing, and horse pages updated next week. Once that is stable (and I finish no JS navigation) we should be porting the new layout to HJ2.

When you're juggling what are essentially 3 more than part time jobs--running and frequently updating a popular online game (not to mention learning new programming languages to do this latest update), running a mini-farm with goats and chickens that need daily care, and round-the-clock baby tending, and raising your own year old daughter, your ability to get things done astonishes me. You deserve some rest time, particularly now. We can wait for updates.

Your stallion is only 2. They have to be 3 before they can breed.

I have a question about the control panel. Before, if I was doing something on the control panel, it would stay on that tab. Now, if I do something like remove tack or turn off testing, it goes back to the horse's main page and I have to click the control panel tab again to get back there to finish what I was doing. Is that something that will change eventually? I know you're super busy with the changes and everything else... just wanted to ask!
