This sounds awesome. Thank you for continuing to do such great things for this game.

So all the tests have now been moved and compacted down to Genetic Testing, Performance Inspection, Breeding Advice, Strict Breeding Advice, and Breeding Inspection.

Genetic Testing, Performance Inspection, and Breeding Advice are available to everyone. Breeding advice is as described above. Performance Inspection includes PT testing (previously an upgraded only feature) and the recorded score part of inconsistency testing. Breeding Advice gelds/spays based on inconsistency, but Performance Inspection is where you get something written down on the horse's page about it.

Strict Breeding Advice is identical to breeding advice but uses slightly tougher numbers and is available to premium users only.

Breeding Inspection is a HUGE change for the game. This is replacing all the old papering system. It works identically for studs. Mares no longer need foals to be papered and foals no longer weight their paper scores. They can be papered at birth like studs. Cost is 1000 for studs or mares, (500 to 1500 cheaper than before) and free for gelding and spayed mares.

Comparison testing is the last test left on the side-bar. I don't expect it to stay around that long, but we are going to focus on some other issues before tackling that one.

I'm super grateful for this change. Just tested my comp barns, I'm shocked at the amount of blue papered mares I culled :-O Though the amount of failed papers made me laugh. Is there anyway we can give a cow prod to a few mares that are already tested but should have papered higher?

Hychi can you give more info about what page you are talking about and what sort of device/browser you play the game on?

I don't see why they would have papered higher?

I was under the impression that ex perfect with 5% boost should paper blue. All but one have, one has been red after every time I've bred her.

If you are able to take a screen shot that would be super helpful. They are just normal buttons, like any other on the site so not sure what's up.

In regards to the pasture mare testing, what if it were possibly for a limited time so those that have their mares in there don't lose their boost? I'm not too fussed, just pulling mares out of pastures is tedious lol. It's probably just hard to do code wise. Otherwise love the changes!

@clarebear you can go to any mares page and test her. You just can't bulk test them. I don't see any reason to have provisions for that now since mare testing is a once and done thing now.

I can do the mare and stallion papering from their individual pages but not from the barn.

If it says that "that 0 horses will be tested, costing 0 " etc you need to select horses to test.

ETA: Works in tile mode now

Thanks so much for the new papering system. I'm currently in the process of papering my mares. Already found some girls that weren't up to my standards for their respective generations. Also, I found two golds lurking in my 5th generation pasture. No more waiting years for a mare to have enough foals to paper.

It is free for altered horses.

@Ammit I just worked that out lol but then I discovered that I've got a mare that was originally a stallion and it won't let me test her because of the stallion papering. Not sure if you know this might be an issue?

Basic upgrade is required to test.

Strict advice requires a premium upgrade.

You probably can't paper her because she's already papered. Pintala mentioned something similar; a lot of her former colts-now-fillies are stuck with their boy papers too.

Yep it's a known issue. Have not gotten it fixed just yet.

That will get better as your lines become more even in ability.
