    As I was looking through the auction listings today, I noticed a lot of horses whose opening bids by hajauctionbidder were $20k and up. Is that some sort of glitch, or is there a specific reason for it?

    Pricing is based on points ; every horse is worth 2.5k as they train and show they gain points ; thus increasing their worth :)

    Ok. I didn't realize that that was done for the auction as well. I thought all horses put in auction had a starting bid of 2500hbs.

    The auction bidder only bids the horse's current lifetime payout for horses that are 10 years or older. For younger it starts the bidding at 2500hbs.
