Just wanted to say that I love your name! I lived in Arcata for 3 years, and I lived in Laytonville down in Mendo for 14 years. I moved back to Missouri to help with an elderly family member, but my heart is still on the Lost Coast. 707 <3

Awesome! I lived there for only 2 years, went to Humboldt State, lived in Arcata as well. I moved there from NH, drove across country with my best friend. It was a culture shock for me to be in such a large, low populated area, could easily get lost there. I loved the experience, it is such a beautiful area. I moved down to San Diego afterwards.#243786

Definite culture shock! I had never lived in a true community before NorCal. The sense of community there was amazing! I have so many lifelong friends met at the plaza farmers markets and community fundraiser events. People are just different there.
