Hello, One of my horses recently passed and I wanted to look at him in the archives to double check a few things but cannot find him. He doesn’t pop up in search horses and I cant find him when I look as some of his relatives. His name was Dream Child, I found him in omen of my old breeding ads but when I click on him it says horse cannot be found with this ID. Is there anyway to be able to look at him archived? Can this happen where you cant view a past horse in the archives? I can find some of my other past horses in the archives, but he seems to be giving me trouble.

Heres a link to the specific ad I mentioned. I know he’s definitely form my mare ItsATrickorTreat, and i think he was by my stallion CherryDrop LoverBoy. You should be able to see him if you scroll down a bit.

I searched in the archive and don't see him either. As far as I know, horses who do not have offspring or straws/eggs/embryos are not archived in order to save space and keep the game running smoothly.

If you have a favourite horse, ensuring that they have some living offspring in the game should mean that they will be archived. I also know that some people save pictures or data on certain favourite horses to their computer. I think with an upgrade it is possible to download a spreadsheet of your herd.

Someone else may be able to give insight, but I believe “no horse found with this ID”, means they’ve been deleted from the game. When they pass, the game archives certain horses and deletes others. I’ve had mine deleted after passing as well, unfortunately. Did he have any living foals? Without, they usually get deleted rather than archived.

Does not need to have a living foal, just any foal. If there are no foals then that game will not archive a horse.

Aw, ok I see. I wasn’t able to breed him yet, was hoping to do that this season as I wanted to show him for a bit first to rank in some points and see how he does. Well I’ll reuse his name in his honor. I think he was only 17-18, maybe 19 this year. He also doesn’t pop up on his dam’s offspring list either. Thank you for your help everyone, I really appreciate it.

Horses are at risk of aging out of the game every month starting when they turn 18, so if he turned 18 on March 1st, he must have passed then. :(

@aliciabruder11 ; I pull straws from my boys at 16, just to be safe if i think i might want them at some point down the line , or they are the "last" i have of that line
