Liberation Actualization?
  • So I made a herd helper horse with the somatic tattoo "Liberation Actualization" what does that mean, what should I do with her?
She's rather unique looking to me. Thanks in advance!

  • This Rank Special was created by Ammit as a memorial to Vasil Levski who was one of the leaders who helped the revolution that freed Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire in the early nineteenth century. I believe Ammit created this Rank Special because she has friends in Bulgaria.

Horses made with this Rank Special are Chimeras--that is they have two distinct gene sets and can pass on either one to their offspring. They are also Exceptionally Perfect horses, which means that they will be B or Red papered and have PT scores of 10.4. They are also perfectly consistent, which means that they will score exactly the same each time they are shown in a given real-life week.

Chimeras are formed in rare cases where two embryos are created when a mare is bred. Instead of making twins, one of the embryos is absorbed into the other, but each gene set remains distinct.

In the game this often leads to stripey horses like your filly. Sometimes the resulting foal has a patchy coat like the colt I created this morning.

I recommend keeping her and using her for both breeding and showing. However, if you have already set specific goals for a breeding program and she doesn't fit in, you could offer her for sale here in a forum auction. You could probably set an opening bid between 100,000 and 150,000 hbs, especially since both gene strands are homozygous for Dense Pheomelanin, a gene that causes an excess build-up of red pigment in a horse's hair that gives us desirable liver chestnuts. It will also darken the base coats of bay horses.

  • Just to add a bit of info: The person who does the artwork for the game is from Bulgaria (that's her friend), and Ammit has expressed how much she enjoys visiting Sofia and the whole country when she can.

  • I had the good fortune to spend two weeks in Bulgaria to paint and I loved their beautiful healthy working horses there! @Ammit and the artist who has designed these horses has done a splendid job!

  • Not quite. It is Bulgaria's Independence day from 500 years of Ottoman occupation and slavery. Levski was the Bulgarian equivalent of George Washington.

I'll (if everything behaves in the world >:( ) be in bulgaria for 4 months this year.

  • Thanks for the correction, Ammit. My memory isn't as good as it used to be.
