I will gladly buy the two geldings from you for 4000 hbs each to add to my show string.
I have make you a temporary member of my horse exchange. I see you have a basic upgrade, so you can enter the chat room, find the foals in the drop down box under selling rules, and enter their price. Then click on buddy sale and they should be listed as up for sale.

I'll check the chat room whenever I log in, and will buy them when I see them up for sale. -
I have done it - I sure hope I did it right. Thank you for giving them homes!
-
You did it exactly right, and I have picked them up.
Thank you very much. -
Thank you! There is so much to learn in this game
-
Indeed, there is a lot to learn. I've been playing for years and still learn new things fairly often.
If no one is interested in Fine Ice, I will buy him from you for the same price as the geldings.
Looking at his full pedigree, I would probably neuter him and add him to my show string. This is because there is a lot of uneven generational breeding and a fair amount of uneven ability breeding as well. His sire line starts with an A papered stallion, followed by three B papered stallions. His sire's average foal PT is the same as his grandsire's, which is only a little bit better than his great grandsire's.
He will, however, have a pretty good chance at being a fairly decent show horse, especially if he's one of the lucky ones whose inconsistent show scoring swings up more often that it swings down. -
I put him up for you - I am attempting to stay strictly WB.
Thank you for the information. I am also attempting at stricter breeding but find challenges. I often see requests for people to breed really nice (3G+) stallions to only foundation mares and I do not understand the thought behind this line of thinking. Would it not be preferable to breed to proven mares as well (just like in RL)? Your thoughts and advice are helpful. -
The general recommendation from Ammit, the game's creator, is to breed equal paper levels if you want to get more intact foals. If you don't have an upgrade that allows you to paper your horses, the best approximation will be to breed horses of the same generation together, but breeding even generations is not the best strategy and Ammit doesn't approve of insisting on even pedigrees.
Breeding third gen stallions to foundation mares will get you more neutered foals, which, since neuters get some sort of advantage in training is the best way to increase your showing bonus. Part of that is that they generally train one more year before leveling off. Anything else I've never seen a definitive description of.
It's possible that those 3rd gen stallions were really closer in breeding ability to foundation mares or the owner felt that they would be better used for breeding show horses because they weren't top of the line for their paper level.
It's my experience that once you get higher than the foundation C paper for stallions, there seem to be about three levels of B and A papers. That means that there will be B papered stallions that are slightly higher than their C papered sires. Then you will find some B papered colts that comparison test superior to those. Finally there is a third tier of B papered colts that comparison test superior to the mid-range B's. Finally, the breeding ability score pushes colts into the A range. This is just based on observation, not knowledge of the underlying scores that cause this to happen. Only Ammit has that knowledge. -
Did you really mean to put Fine Ice up for 0 hajibucks?
-
Uh, nope!!
-
Fixed my mistake!
-
I had a genetic modification token, so I took him to the lab and made him consistent before I gelded him. This also upped his PT score to 11.3. Now he's even better for showing.
-
Nice! I don't (yet) have the showing bonuses that would get me the bucks to do that , but eventually. Hope he shows well for you!
-
Thank you. I do too.
This high point gelding is up for you in my horse exchange for 500 hbs, to give a nice boos to your showing bonus.
Kindly Tieke i -
That's very kind of you! Thank you ♥
