New Barn!
-
Hey, guys! My name is Ally for those who don't know. :) After almost a year of trying to convince my old barn owner to switch feeds for my hard keeper, I have finally taken the next step and moved barns. This barn has so many things my old one didn't such as trails, a 60ft round pen, a huge grass lot for my guy (he was on a semidry lot), and my choice of feed. I couldn't be more excited to start riding but my goal as of right now is to get weight on him before putting him back into work. The vet scored him a 4 on the body condition chart. My goal is a 5 or 6 which is considered normal and healthy.
I'll keep you guys updated on our progress! :) As for now, pictures of course!
At our old barn to give you an idea of his body condition.
And his first day at the new place! Body condition still poor but just started a better quality feed.I.D. 221438
