A Horse of a Different Color!
PonPon wants to try out a new look for spring, but she’s not sure what color goes best with her complexion. Help her out with a spring makeover!

Download the page and color PonPon in to make her look like your favorite Hunt & Jump horse. Here’s my quickie attempt. The foal is one that Cheers had that I really loved, named Monets Garden.

You can pick one of your own horses, or one owned by somebody else that you like. It doesn’t have to be fantasy, it can be as real as you can make it.
Color her in digitally, or print the image and color her with crayons, paint, colored pencils, whatever works for you.

Share your PonPony on this thread, and let us know which horse you picked to use for her makeover!
One entry per account, please. Multiple account owners can submit one entry for each account.
The contest will end on March 30th at rollover.
The top 10 images will be selected by admin and then the top placings by random selection.
Prizes!
1st - 10 GMT tokens, a 5% Breeding Boost, and 250,000 HBs to give a makeover to your favorite horse!
2nd – 5 GMT tokens, three 1% Breeding Boosts, and 150,000 HBs
3rd – 1 GMT, and 50,000 HBs
Honorable mention (the other seven top images) - 50,000 HBs

I picked my first intact lined chimera ever in the game, Charlotte's gift..

She has been and still is my favorite horse in the game! One of those horses you just never forget about.. Something drew me to her mother even though there was nothing really special about her, maybe it was the illusive DP that was once hidden in the gene sequences? Whatever it was, it compelled me to flush her a few times... after her passing, I tried to get an intact blue papered foal from her and one failed attempt after another, I had to walk away with 1 embryo left... I later came back and was able to get Charlotte's Gift! After passing SBA, I reluctantly papered her only for her to come out Red Papered which was slightly soul crushing since my 2nd gens are Blue papered or snipped... BUT! she was good enough to boost to Blue papered which falls in line with my breeding guidelines for 2nd gen so she got to grow old in my pastures and gave me a hand full of intact babies... unfortunately none of them were ever chimera but she was fun none the less to see the difference in her foals each year that came out with genes from one of the two sets. It was kind of like Russian Roulette! Which set is it going to land on this season lol

I'm in no way artistic but I at least tried to capture a cute Pon Pon version of Gift :))

This is a fun contest, @ConfluenceStable. Thank you! Boy oh boy, art is NOT my strong suit but I figured I'd enter anyways. My favorite looking horse is my mare Living Dead Girl. She is zombie-esque and I love everything about her. When I first made her, I really didn't like the way her colors were. She had the genes I wanted but I was disappointed to say the least when looking at her. A couple of months later, I spent an hour or so re-rolling her image, determined to find one that I loved. When I rolled her current look, I was IN LOVE. She looks like a Walking Dead character and I think she is gorgeous. I had fun coloring her, though my picture doesn't do her justice!

I made an image on my computer, but i have NO IDEA how to get it here. I click on the image icon and it shows me a little HTML but no way to insert my file. Do I have to put it on some server somewhere?

On the first day I joined (a year ago on the 28th eek!) I bought this horse with my older sister. I loved his genes and made him into my first breeding line. Before I joined the game I had been really depressed from COVID and just the way things were happening. This game worked so well to lift my spirits though! I named him SandyMilkyWay after his sandy-colored coat and the star-like spots that had been on him. I loved how he looked before he varnished out, and even after! He passed away over the rollover last month, but I wanted to do something to kind of remember him. So I drew ponpon with the markings SandyMilkyWay had before he varnished out. I threw in his tack items for good measure :)

thanks CLynnRose, it is actually a painting. I usually paint more realistic horses.
and I tried to do this challenge with drawing s/w but it was awful,, so I got out the paints.

I based Pon Pon on one of my favorite stallions, Wan Galaxy Away. I love how he turned out when I was adding RGS genes, so I tried imitating him with the coloring.

This is a colt I picked up from auction recently. I really needed a new 5g stallion, and I'm obsessed with nexus. I saw him and I couldn't help but think how perfect he'd be in my stables. I've been waiting quite a while to find a homozygous 5g nexus colt, I had lost my charger the night of the auction and didn't find it until the next day, the whole night I was terrified someone was going to bid on him lol.

A reminder that I can only add genes to unbred foundation horses. If you sent me a brindle I will add it to the first strand DNA set unless you specify otherwise. Also, phantom genes require visible pinto markings to show are hidden on solid horses and can be hidden by appaloosa. Please hoose your horses with this in mind.
