Don't know why it's not selling, it's priced way below a couple others from other people that sold around 300k

Edit; it's been bought by annismyrph on the 27thPost edited by Cherobird at 2022-03-27 23:54:14Thanked by 1RyuSyn

The other mare I have was purchased at auction and I paid 750,000 after a big bidding war. The others listed for sale on the site are 600,000 and all the ones over three have already been bred. The best I can figure is that after everyone has got their breeding done for the season they are not hanging out on here as much so horses for sale don’t get as much exposure. From what I have observed, the market is higher at the first half of the month when everyone has breeding fever.Thanked by 1RyuSyn

The prices of horses on the public sales list aren't always the best guide for current pricing.Looking at prices of recently sold horses is often more accurate and even then pricing is tricky. Also even among a single RS some colors/genes sell for more than other depending on trends. Also a $500,000 horse has a much smaller pool of potential buyers than a $50,000 horse because many players don't have that spending power. So selling has a lot of factorsPost edited by Starstruck2 at 2022-03-28 06:45:09Starstruck2 on Bluegrass and Forest

@blessedbybrigid FYI pulling eggs will look a lot like breeding and count towards the bred this year tab on the search, but technically you can still GMT the horses as long as they have no foals. I do this to my work in protect ponies :DPost edited by Cherobird at 2022-03-28 07:19:52Thanked by 1RyuSyn

What if the egg is used and produces a foal?
-
If the egg is used to create a live foal, then it will be in the listed foals for that mare :) sometimes foals can get deleted by the game if you auction them and no one buys them, or if you sell them back to the game. There's a certain period of time where you can "save" them if you did so accidentally, but then once they're gone, you will no longer see them on the mares page. That mare will then be able to be GMTd if she has no more foals in the game.
An example:
OCR R $ Knowledge
This mare had a foal once, which i sold back to the game. She had eggs pulled this year, so her foal count says 1. When you go into her family page, she has no foals. In the barn I have her in, it shows her AFPT average foal points even though she no longer has a foal to match it. She is fully GMT able (she's in my project barn)
Here's the barn link:

That's okay, Chero. Post might be hijacked, but I learned from it, that's the important thing.
