Curiousity has me: how did you all get Buckskins? I got a pure Perlino stud & I saw another Perlino mare for sale. Is it just the genetics the HH gives and any base color is possible?

The Dark Chocolate herd helper, which is the base for this one, probably specifies Heterozygous Cream without ruling out the possibility of a random Homozygous Cream popping up occasionally. This would explain how you got a Perlino.
