Well it feels like it has been forever since I've been on here. I've been sort of maintaining my account but haven't sorted or bred anything (intentionally) in a very long time. I won't tell you how many IVs I have lol.

I'm thinking about starting over on a small scale but new genes, new horse sizes/shapes...I have no idea what I want to do! It'll take days to sort through all the new info on the forum.

Any suggestions? What are you breeding?

You should take a careful look at the new Kit Lethality effects. It's much more complex than it used to be. Here's a link to some information.

Welcome back - even if you haven't exactly been gone. There is so much new, take time to look around and see what you like. Personally, I like the different bone density - particularly the heavy horses.

I'm thinking I may keep it something simple. Flaxen liver chestnut, plain bay, black based grey etc. Something that isn't complicated. I'm more of a quality breeder than a color breeder anyways and while I've done the LE genes before it usually winds up a mess. Not that I didn't love my old grullo herd. But it did get complicated. Guess I'll keep debating.

Strict breeding advice is much more strict now - and you can also paper mares from birth, so that will help you with quality. I have found it very helpful as I am terrible about culling the not-quite-so-good ones.

I'm still breeding my same old lines. both my own blingy line and the old leaderboard lines for show ponies.

Some of the newer special genes can't be sold unless the buyer has that same foundation gene. But I have a BUNCH that can be :)

LOL I did consider flaxen liver tobi - especially now that we have true liver chestnuts in the game. Just hard to find DP still haha. Y'all horde them. Though I do have hundreds of GMT tokens...

@DreamCrest Farms I have a few exceptional tobiano draft mares that I suspect are DP carriers - my gift to you if you want them!

I also have a number of DP stallions and mares, happy to share straws/eggs.

I'm breeding for flaxen liver chestnuts as well, though with W4, Sabino, some with Nexus and Satin. Feel free to look through my guys. I'm currently only at a Basic upgrade so I can't do eggs, but I would part with some mares and stallions/straws if any catch your eye. 221914
